FAQs

WHAT EXACTLY IS THE BONANZA EXTRAVAGANZA?

The Bonanza Extravaganza is a two-day event held every year on Mother’s Day weekend. Gates open Friday afternoon for two days of live music, vendors, gaming. Massive tents holding 8,000 people cover the infield and under them you’ll find stages, tables, chairs and a huge JumboTron so you don’t miss a minute of the fun.

Drawing and Guest tickets entitle the buyer entry into the event both days, and catered food on Saturday is available as part of the ticket price. Bottomless beer and soda mugs, are available for purchase and are good for both Friday and Saturday.

Big Friday Money is our money give-away reserved for those present on Friday night. On Saturday the drawings start at noon for ticket holders where the smallest prize is a $1000 and the biggest prize is $100,000 with a winner every five minutes!

HOW MANY GUEST TICKETS CAN I PURCHASE?

You may purchase one guest ticket for every $110 ticket purchased.

DO YOU NEED TO BE 21 TO ATTEND?

YES. You must be 21 or older to attend the Bonanza Extravaganza. You will be asked to present a state or government issued ID at the gate for entry and must be willing to present it upon request at any time during the event. No exceptions.

DO YOU HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO WIN?

You must be present to win on Big Money Friday night when we give away twenty, one-thousand dollar prizes. For this special drawing, all patrons entering the gate will be given a separate raffle ticket. This is the ticket used for the Friday drawing. Winners must be present to claim their $1,000 prize that night.

Patrons need not be present Saturday to win. Patrons who purchase a $100 ticket will be given a four-digit number. The drawing is done with four machines, each containing ten balls numbered 0-9. Each drawing results in a four-digit number.

HOW DO I GET MY TICKET?

Purchases made on line will produce an e-ticket. This e-ticket must be printed and brought to the event for admission. No admission will be allowed without this e-ticket. Tickets may also be bought in person at participating retailers. If not attending the event, the e-ticket will serve as proof of purchase for drawing winners. Tickets can also be picked up at select locations or purchased by phone by calling (301) 991-4646.

DO I HAVE TO EXCHANGE MY E-TICKET?

No. Simply print your secure e-ticket and bring it to the Bonanza for admission.

RAIN OR SHINE?

The event is held rain or shine. There is seating with tables and chairs for 8,000 people all under huge tents. Gaming is all under tent as well!
